A Ministry of Hope
The Teddy Bear ministry is going well. We have 7 new “members” (Teddy Bears) in our congregation. The first donation cycle is August through mid-October. Please take time to pick out the right Teddy Bear that will spread hope to a special child in crisis.
It is difficult to stay positive in hard times, but you have to believe that God is in control. One parishioner told me last Sunday that as she was looking at teddy bears, she found herself saying, “Nope, that’s not the one” to several … and she was surprised. That’s the magic of this ministry.
A container is in the back of the sanctuary for your Teddy Bear, but please remember to name your teddy bear and indicate who you want it from for the story (first name or family name).
